Although 1SLT is a commercial for profit website, most of the proceeds we earn are put back into the laser tag community in the form of contests, events such as TagFest, tournaments such as the Tag for Tots, and buying equipment so that the majoriety of people can afford to try the gear for a very reasonable rental rate.
As the community has changed again with resources like Allied Tag, Nuclear Dawn, and Greg's Website taking on many of the needs we attempted to cover - 1SLT is morphing yet again! So please forgive us as we attempt to adjust the website here and there to find our nitch in the community. Currently most of the Catalogs are bare, this will change fairly soon.
The main resources that are unique on 1SLT at the moment are as follows:
1 - The most used feature of 1SLT is its news service THE LASER HORIZON. As news accumulates we attempt to put out a semi-weekly newsletter that is actually full of news with little to no advertising. When we have enough larger articles submitted, we release one of our larger magazine style publications...or EZINE. All of these resources can be found by clicking on NEWS on our home page.
2 - The second most used unique service on our website is Lazer Tag Team Ops gear rentals. We charge a very reasonable $3.50 per gun rental for 2 days + actual shipping costs. To find out more about this, click on RENTALS on our home page.
3 - Third, not really mentioned anywhere on the website at the moment is our out of country sales service. If you live in a country where gear is not readily available, we will go to a local store and buy it for you and ship it to you for a 10% markup. The markup generally just covers our costs.
4 - Also not currently displayed on the website is a free referral service for those interested in starting up an outdoor laser tag business. If you need help finding gear, props, uniforms, blockers, equipment, software, and soon even insurance for starting up a business, we can reffer you in the right direction depending on the type of business you want to run, and your available budget.
5 - Catalogs and Classifieds If you have an idea, project, service, device, event, or need...let us know about it. We can either help you out directly or send you in the right direction of were to post or chat.
6 - Chat Room On top of holding a general chat session every Thursday night, the chat rooms are open for service 24 hours. Here soon we will be adding a link to the Laser Tag IRC channel which has people on it to help you out round the clock. Also too, starting this winter we will be offering sessions for those looking for help on doing modifications, starting clubs, running events, and even building custom circuits and electronics / programming classes.
There are many other resources on the website...some of them are simply links to resources that others provide..some of them unique to this website...there is alot to explore...some of them will probably have a years worth of cyber dust on them, we apologize for this; but please keep in mind, there are only two of us...and only 1 doing web updates!

The website is mainly run and edited by me, David Roman in my spare time. All orderseb pages and orders are also updated and serviced by my better half & wife, Cathie. Although Laser Tag is but one of my many hobbys, I take the business end of the website seriously and most orders (if everything is in stock) go out within a week if not withing 24 hours.
